N.I.N.E. Enterprises offers dynamic teacher training that builds both knowledge and instructional skills through workshops and in-services.

Johnny Can Spell Workshops
Johnny Can Spell Workshops focus on phonemic awareness, systematic and explicit phonics, penmanship, and spelling through the teaching and practice of the phonograms and word analysis.

Johnny Can Write Workshops
Johnny Can Write Workshops focus on dictionary skills and vocabulary building activities that include the study of word relationships, morphemes, and parts of speech. The workshops also focus on the sentence: classification, composition, elaboration, revision, writing conventions, and analysis. Teachers are equipped with both knowledge and instructional strategies. They will learn how to integrate instruction in these with phonics, penmanship, and spelling. No students textbooks are needed. No student consumables are needed.

Literacy Workshops
N.I.N.E. Enterprises offers a series of highly specialized one-day mini-workshops that address a specific segment of language instruction and skills. By design, the format and schedule creates a focus that supports greater in-depth examination of the content and more hands-on activity than the broader versions of training found in Johnny Can Spell workshops and Johnny Can Write workshops. They are effective learning experiences for teachers, expanding their knowledge base. Bring expert training to your staff.

In-Service Day
One of the most powerful training components in your staff development plan is an In-Service Day that provides follow-up to a training event. Alice Nine will present on-site classroom demonstrations for a school whose staff has participated in a Johnny Can Spell workshop, a Johnny Can Write workshop, or a Literacy Workshop. The content of the In-Service Day will always focus on the area that the staff has had prior training with N.I.N.E. Enterprises.
