THE NEED FOR TRAINING

School administrators report that teacher training with N.I.N.E. Enterprises supports a strong bottom-up implementation.

Is teacher training needed?

Alice Nine, creator of Johnny Can Spell & Johnny Can Write, firmly believes quality teacher training is a critical piece that must be included in our school improvement plans.

From her personal experiences as a teacher, administrator, and consultant, Alice Nine knows that it is the lack of knowledge about the language systems that most hinders the teaching of reading and writing. Many surveys indicate that many teachers have a limited knowledge base of phonics with little or no training in how to teach it. They also have not received adequate training in how to teach penmanship, spelling, grammar, or the conventions of writing. Teachers must be equipped with a greater knowledge base and with simple, appropriate teaching strategies. N.I.N.E. Enterprises provides exceptional teacher training that addresses these areas.

Thousands of teachers, nationally and internationally, have participated in our training events. Read what they say, clck here.
